Commentaire : C’est surtout le deuxième des deux concerts donnés ce jour-là qui présente de l’intérêt. D’abord, le son est bien meilleur (même si loin d’être parfait). Ensuite, on peut y entendre plusieurs raretés telles que « Bron-Y-Aur » ou la première version live connue de « Gallows Pole » (contenue dans une improvisation de « Communication Breakdown ». Le concert de l’après-midi est plus court d’environ 30 minutes et la qualité sonore varie pas mal, du pourrave (comme sur « Heartbreaker ») au tout à fait correct (comme sur « Dazed and Confused »).
Avant d’interpréter « That’s The Way », Robert PLant fait une courte déclaration à propos de la mort de Jimi Hendrix, survenue la veille. Voici ce qu’il dit : « Yesterday a rather uncomortable thing happened for everybody, and a great loss came about for the whole of the music world. Well we’d like to think of you as well as us are very sorry that, that, uh, Jimi Hendrix is dead. No, seriously. I spoke to a close friend of his about half an hour ago; he said that probably he would have preferred everybody to just get on and really have a good time, rather than talk about it. »
