Commentaire (en anglais) par sean.curtin (1er juillet 2015) :

This forms a companion to the other two bootleg recordings ‘Volume One’ and ‘ Marching In Time’.

SUMMARY:
Simply brilliant release of very hard to obtain B sides and unheard of tracks. I personally enjoyed the tracks on this album more than the first album and the ‘Marching In Time’ album. This features some sadly unreleased or promo only tracks that are some of the most amazing Oingo Boingo pieces I’ve ever heard and was glad I finally got the chance to.

IN DEPTH:
The quality of this album is a touch better than the Volume One album but in all fairness, Volume One features some very early tracks. Volume Two on the other hand features tracks which highlight the tight Oingo Boingo cohesive force that delivered punchy, catchy and very interesting music. These tracks were created when Oingo Boingo was in it’s prime.
‘Something Isn’t Right’ is a track that jumps at you with the familar almost orchestrated jazz/rock infusion. Terrific start track.
‘Better Luck Next Time’ is a brilliant song and my 2nd favourite on the album. It’s just got such a terrific rock flow and I love how the whole band feels like one person with how co-operative they are playing with one another. No one’s trying to outdo anyone, there all playing to make the music the best it can be and play well ‘together’.
‘Waiting For You’, continues the thrill of smooth legendary Oingo Boingo rock sound. Fans of the ‘Good For Your Soul’ album are going to love this one.
‘Head In The Clouds’ A nice lazy song that really highlights how Oingo Boingo could go from hard rock to easy swing in a heart beat, nice contrast.
‘Take Your Medicine’, sounds a little bit like it could of fit of the Danny Elfman(but seriously really an Oingo Boingo album), album ‘So-Lo’.
‘Cruisin’ Please read the Volume One album review(it’s the exact same track for some reason).
‘Remember My Name’ My FAVOURITE track on the name. This song is absolutely brilliant and I can’t believe it never featured on any of the studio albums? I really enjoyed the song, the contemplation of who’ll remember you when your gone, the nice tempo, mix of instruments and just terrific orchestration all round.
‘Mama’ A great rock track.
‘Inside’. A great companion for fans of the ‘Just A Lad’ album.
‘Find You’ Brilliant finale which should have featured on the ‘Good For Your Soul’ album in my firm opinion. Amazing ending.
This collection plays like a missing Oingo Boingo album and I am so greatful to the lads and lasses that put this one together as it was just what I was hoping for and have searched high and low to find.

QUALITY:
Sadly my favourite track on this ablum ‘Remember My Name’ is of the poorest quality yet in these bootleg recordings but that only emphasises how incredible the song is as even though it’s not an amazing recording is a mind blowingly good song and still shines. Overall I gave this album an 8/10 for audio quality factoring in the ‘bootleg’ nature. It’s a worthy collection of impossible to track down tracks to get you all oingo boingoed.

CONCLUSION: Like the other album, OINGO BOINGO band members, I would gladly purchase an official recording of this terrific collection of very hard to find Oingo Boingo. It’s simply stunning work and very sad that the world is not able to hear a nice quality official release. I’ll be hunting for where ever ‘Remember My Name’ came from for sure. A MUST have for any Oingo Boingo fan. Stunning music to be found here. Grab it and enjoy.
